The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund need help in their efforts to provide assistance and support for American military personnel who have been severely wounded in the Iraq and Afghanistan operations. The Fund has constructing a world class state-of-the-art advanced training skills center at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, to aid in their treatment and recovery. The facility deals especially with amputees and those with other extreme physical disabilities. They, also, provide housing for the veterans' families while their loved ones are in the hospital, through the Fisher House Foundation.
The hospital was built with funds donated by the public, not the government, through the purchase of paver stones and/or direct donations. It is staffed and supported by the government, but the extra services will continue to be provided by individual and foundation contributions.

The Fisher House Foundation provides facilities for the families of our soldiers, while they are undergoing treatment. The Fisher House Foundation, through corporate donations, foundations and private contributions, also, coordinates services for military children, Hero Miles, and incidental expenses incurred by the families of our injured soldiers, which are provided by a variety of caring groups.
